story pitching workshop

A working writer needs more than just writing chops. In addition to being able to craft a good piece, you have to know how to sell it! This starts with knowing how to write a good pitch. In our workshop, Karen Hawkins, founder & rebelle-in-chief of Rebellious Magazine for Women, and successful freelance writer Jera Brown will take you through the pitching process, from what a good pitch consists of to how to follow up with editors. You’ll also have a chance to gather feedback on your own ideas.
