On Saturday, April 2, the Trinity of Terror Tour – featuring Black Veil Brides, Motionless in White, and Ice Nine Kills – made a stop at the Byline Bank Aragon Ballroom in Chicago. Fans who arrived early were introduced to the new powerhouse Lilith Czar who seized her rock royalty crown with a commanding opening set.
“What’s up Chicago? I’m Lilith Czar. Welcome to the Trinity of Terror Tour,” said the artist formerly known as Juliet Simms early in the night.
Armed with heavy-hitters from her 2021 album, Created from Filth and Dust, Czar rose from the ashes of her former self to share a powerful performance worthy of a throne.
“How many women we got in the house,” Czar asked to a sea of cheers midway through her performance. “Tonight you are kings. Ladies, give it up for yourself.”
Czar soon launched in to her empowering track, “King,” further elaborating on her desire to “be king” in “a man’s world.” She continued to uplift the crowd, with a figurative middle finger in the air, during the set-closing rocker, “Anarchy.”

Other highlights of the show include “Feed My Chaos,” “Unholy,” and a bewitching cover of Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen.”
In her previous incarnation, Czar had a reputation for inspiring fans both with her words and her unshakable presence, but as a performer today her voice is more forceful than ever and her message is crystal clear. Be true to yourself. Be proud of yourself. And f*ck anyone who dares to make you doubt your own power.
