The iconic Chicago Pride Parade took place in the Lakeview and Lincoln Park neighborhoods on Sunday, June 28. “Free to Be Proud” was the theme of this year’s event as participants, elected officials, friends, and neighbors came together to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and the legacy of those who paved the way.
Organized by the volunteer-powered non-profit PRIDEChicago, the 2026 Chicago Pride Parade featured over 150 registered entries with journalist and historian Tracy Baim, civil rights leader Mona Noriega, and philanthropist and community advocate Evette Cardona serving as the 2026 Community Grand Marshals.
