After the Rebellious Magazine Reading in August, I lamented to writer Rachel Berg Scherer that what Rebellious 2.0 really needed was a feminist parenting column. You can imagine how thrilled I was when she agreed, on the spot, to take on writing one.
There may have been prosecco involved.
Two months later, Feminist Parenting is here, and it’s everything I was hoping it would be. (And a buncha things I didn’t know to ask for because my cats are my kids). I love this first installment, and I can’t wait to read where Rachel takes all of us next on her journey.
Also new is Beauty Rebelle by writer Eva Marie. You know that one friend who always looks super put-together with bangin’ nails and lip color that won’t quit? Yep, that’s Eva. Thankfully, she’s agreed to share her product prowess with the world.
I hope to meet some of you at our Rebelle Event of the Month, the Women Supporting Women Conference sponsored by Mom + Baby, on Oct. 20.
And don’t forget about the Rebellious Magazine Breast Health Happy Hour on Oct. 24 at City Winery. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome. (Note: This is not a fundraiser. Think of it more as a celebration of your breasts. And an excuse to drink wine with other fun folks on a school night.)
In Rebellion,
Karen
